We support children and youth in difficult negotiations.
The SNI Kids und Teens web site provides facilities for children and teenagers to learn and watch videos about negotiation and for networking with each other.
With projects such as our Summer Camp or the support of Plant-for-the-Planet we want to do our share to prepare children and youth to be fit for conflict.
As adults we like to see a playful element in children and youth. They have a genuine approach to negotiations, make their demands with a certain lightness, and employ their charm to always arrive at a solution.
Our experience is mixed. Yes, the playful element is there, and it is often used "against" us.
When it comes to serious conflicts, however, all playfulness has disappeared. Problems with parents or bullying at school bring children and youth to the edge of negotiation.
In seminars—such as our Summer Camp—children and youth learn the most important strategies and tactics.
With our blog for kids and Twitter we regularly send tips and news for difficult negotiations.
Climate crisis limate change is a threat for us and, even more so, for the next generation.
As a nine-year old, Felix Finkbeiner founded "Plant-for-the-Planet", an initiative for his generation to fight for climate protection.
It has grown into a worldwide organisation with a big goal. The plan is to plant 1.000.000.000.000 billion new trees.
(As of March 2017, 14.2 milliarden trees have already been planted.)
The initiative's ambassadors negotiate with Barack Obama, the UN, and many presidents and CEOs.
Our institute supports "Plant-for-the-Planet" with:
• Workshops at international Youth Summits
• One tree for every new SNI customer
• Fundraising within our community
• Social media on all channels
