Introducing: the Global Negotiation Map
The Schranner Negotiation Institute, true to its commitment in using cutting edge technology to share knowledge on the topic of difficult negotiations, is pleased to introduce the Global Negotiation Map.
By tracking negotiation-related keywords globally and in real time, the data-analytics tool offers a graphical representation of where a conflict, crisis or tough negotiation is underway as well as the surrounding sentiment, filtered by location, social media channel, language, time period etc.
Examining the current status of our “heat map” as an example, based on data that we extracted within the last week, our tool tracked 3.3k posts around the world that referred at least one of our predetermined key words; naturally, the United States and the United Kingdom monopolized the discussions with trade agreements, potential conflicts and the Brexit being major topics of discussion in both countries.
